These boilers have a manhole door for manual loading of bulky material and for periodic cleaning of the brazier. The horizontal heat exchanger with steel pipes immersed in water has three smoke recovery stages for maximum thermal efficiency, connected at the ends to smoke boxes that can be opened and inspected for the removal of combustion residue and for periodic maintenance. The metal base is covered with a refractory rammed lining for high temperatures, thus allowing high temperatures to be reached for optimum combustion to produce hot water 203°F (95°C). The metal base houses the chrome cast iron grate, in the case of operation with manual loading, or the brazier, in the case where the operation is done automatically, using the Fuocomatic screw feed device. All these boilers are provided with a support plate for applying the diesel or gas burner with an internal protection made of mobile refractory material, thermostatic apparatus for controlling temperature and for safety and general electric power panel for controlling the various operational cycles. This range of boilers are completely insulated with high-density insulating material, protected by stove-enamelled casing. The automatic supply is provided by the Fuocomatic system composed of: feeding silo for wood fuel, provided with an internal feeding device and an orthogonal reduction gear, variable-speed geared motor for the flow of wood, spiral screw feeder, primary and secondary combustion air fan, and water sprinkling fire protection device with thermostatic control.
