 Drying wood and selling logs for burning in the domestic market is Certainly Wood’s main business. They are located in Hereford. A Uniconfort thermal oil system of 1MW to provide oil at 200°C to heat 3 kilns located in parallel, was recently installed.
The client utilises only his waste wood to provide the energy and runs continuously all year with only short interruptions for maintenance which do not effect the running of the business.
CO2 Savings - Logs V's Gas
Logs = (Based on 1MW boiler) 63,425kg of CO2 emissions per year.
Gas = (Based on 1MW boiler) 466,808kg of CO2 emissions per year.
TOTAL SAVING OF 403,383kg of CO2 per year (Approximate Figures)
