Due to rapid expansion and company growth Eco Link Resources are looking for a Design M&E Engineer at our Grantham, Lincolnshire offices. We are a leading supplier and installer of biomass thermal and biomass CHP technology, working across the UK, meeting the demands of public sector, commercial and domestic clients.
The role is to provide design and technical services to the Operations team.
Principal responsibilities for the advertised position of the Design M&E Engineer are as follows -

Degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering or related discipline
-
Ability to apply technical expertise and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles to varied projects and proposals
-
Experience in steam, electric generating or thermal energy plants and components (boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchanger, pumps, valves, pipe work etc)
-
Office based but require flexibility to work on location and visit clients around the UK

Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
-
Drive and self motivation to continuously develop technical skills
-
Strong team player who will take accountability for achieving objectives

Previous experience in renewable energy sector
Key day to day responsibilities consist of -
-
Produce technical system designs
-
Support installation team on all technical aspects of a project contributing to overall project performance
-
Liaise with other specialists to ensure all technical aspects of a project are dealt with
-
Ensure that information is collated to produce accurate record drawings, manuals and specifications
-
Produce technical spec. for all proposals and propositions
-
Ensure that procurement is technically correct
-
Ensure all technical, quality and performance standards are met during project life-cycle
