A farm in Cambridge with three farm houses was heated via one 30kw oil boiler and two 20kw oil boilers one for each property.All three oil boilers were removed, making way for one 50kw wood chip boiler located centrally between the three properties.

With the old oil boiler at the end of its life Smiths Hall on the Rookery Estates decided they would install biomass boiler. Eco Link was chosen to design the system and install the boiler.
Eco Link designed and installed a district heating scheme, to heat the main hall, some 22,000 sqft, the estate office, two estate cottages, a large green house and outdoor swimming pool.

Green Peace Dog Kennels had a 25kw woodchip boiler installed by Eco Link Resources Ltd to supply heating and hot water for cleaning down the kennels. The boiler will save the kennels around 80% of the last years heating
bill, reduce their overall heating bill to £450 per year plus saving
them 15,500 kg of Co2 per year!

The Technology Centre:where space has been designed to be flexible to meet the needs of clients.
A district heating system to supply heating and hot water from a biomass boiler, was supplied and installed by Eco Link Resources Ltd, the boiler installed was a 200kw wood pellet boiler with a 5,000 litre accumulator tank. The fuel tank has been built below ground level for ease of delivery of the wood pellet fuel. The boiler will save around 185,000kg of Co2 each year with a running cost of approx £15,000. The installation was commissioned in Dec 2008.
