Green Peace Dog Kennels had a 25kw woodchip boiler installed by Eco Link Resources to supply heating and hot water for cleaning down the kennels. The boiler which comes with auto ignition auto feed and auto cleaning is housed in a purpose built plant room 20m from the kennel compound. The size of the plant room including fuel store, which holds enough fuel for 8 weeks in mid winter, is 7m in length by 4m in width and 2.8m in height. The boiler will save the kennels around 80% of the last years heating bill, reduce their overall heating bill to £450 per year plus saving them 15,500 kg of Co2 per year!
