Modular Units - Purpose Built Plant Rooms

Eco Link supply purpose built modular weatherproof biomass thermal units. These are custom designed plant rooms which house a biomass boiler and fuel store.

The modular unit is built and fitted out off site and transported to site by a low loader trailer in one section. The standard modular units are 14m in length 3.85m wide and 4m in height (external sizes).

The system is fully modulating to optimise pellet consumption and satisfy space and hot water heating demand and can be modem linked for offsite monitoring and control.

These steel framed units come complete with all the required equipment - boiler, flue, ID fan, multi-cyclone for efficient capture of the combustion particulate, fuel delivery system, fuel store, pumps plus associated equipment and controls.

The base frame is manufactured from rolled steel channel and is constructed and suitably designed to accommodate both point and distributed loads of the installed boiler and equipment. The base frame allows lifting slings to be fitted for lifting operation. The plant room floor is steel chequer plate sheeting. PVC guttering and downpipes are installed following final positioning of the plant room on site. The roof and wall construction is a microrib composite panel, insulated internally with any openings through roof or wall to accommodate services suitably weather sealed.

A control panel supplied by Eco Link Ltd will control and manage the boiler, pumps and heat output and comes ready to integrate with onsite BMS systems.

All materials, equipment and installations utilised within this package are where practical and applicable to comply fully with current statutory regulations and applicable British Standard and codes of practice.
