Description

Our Eco Link range of boilers from 200kW to 5MW for commercial and industrial use, as well as large houses, burn woodchip and wood pellets with up to a 45% moisture content. The boilers are constructed with a self-bearing structure of thick steel plate with a high mechanical strength and a high-volume, wet-wall combustion chamber with refractory lining of a high aluminium content.

  • KEY FEATURES:
            • Anti-explosion safety valves within the heat exchanger.
            • Fire fighting device with positive action and adjustable temperature controls complete with filter.
            • Heat Exhanger is made of high quality steel and designed for maximum heat transfer yeild.
            • Plenums at each end are designed to allow for easy and quick cleaning.
            • Large pipes have been selected to ensure an efficient transfer of heat from fuel to the process water.
            • Varnished to protect against corrosion.
            • Handles most fuels up to 45% relative humidity.

The horizontal heat exchanger with high thickness steel pipes has been designed to assure the best heat exchange and yield.
It is connected at the ends to flues that may be opened and inspected for the removal of the combustion residue and for periodic maintenance.
The heat exchanger is cleaned by this pneumatic cleaner.

The whole combustion chamber is provided with a thick refractory lining of a high aluminium content made with refractory bricks to obtain a high temperature and thus to optimise the combustion. The bricks are fixed with anchorages and refractory cast with a high isolating content.

The high-volume, dry combustion chamber has three turns in the route of the combustion gas to enhance the combustion process and to improve the precipitation of the ash contained in the combustion gas. The combustion chamber reaches temperatures ranging 900¸1.300 °C and it is provided with doors for periodic cleaning of the brazier. There is a post combustion chamber with the entrance of gas with high turbulent velocity due to the special system of injection of the secondary air.

Inertial speed reversing smoke dust-collecting cyclone for collecting combustion waste.  The multi-cyclone has vertical design with load-bearing structure of thick steel plate (2.5-4 mm) complete with doors for periodic cleaning and maintenance, pedestals, ash box, belt-driven smoke intake fan.

High efficiency smoke filters made in INOX with:

·         Filtering chamber with decanting pre-filtering room to capture the aerial residues of the combustion.

·         The filter is made of AISI 304 stainless steel bags with appropriate containing basket to resist to a temperature up to + 500°C.

·         Chamber for ash collection complete with extractable containers for periodic cleaning.

·         Automatic and timed pneumatic installation for the constant cleaning of the filtering bags, electrical cabinet 380 Volt.

·         The filter will be completely isolated.

Mechanical parts for fuel storage silo to be fixed to a structure and equipped with floating bed extractor for the storage and extraction of fuel, both dry and wet. The extractor shall be of the horizontal type, consisting of racks and arms, floor mounted on running guides and connected to hydraulic cylinders supplied by an oil pumping central unit.

The boiler is fitted with a base designed for the installation of the fuel feed auger and walking floor combustion chamber. The boiler has been designed and constructed for burning wood chip, solid wood lumber or alternatively liquid and gaseous fuels. The load-bearing construction, has been manufactured out of 10 & 12 mm thick steel plate to withstand the heat stress and operating thrust pressure.
The boiler is completely insulated with high-density insulating material, and protective painted steel panelling.
